Project Description:
The construction of Bridge cum Vented dam is proposed across river Netravathi at Jakhribettu for the purpose of Irrigation purpose which also serves as a connectivity between the two villages. The quantity of about 4.097 MCM of water is stored at a height of 5.500 m and a length of 342.000 m.
The Scheme is requested from local villagers and Administration.
The Proposal consists of preparation of Detailed Project Report on the construction of bridge cum Vented dam across river Netravathi at Jakribettu in B-Mooda of Bantwal Taluk Dakshina Kannada District.
The vented dam/Bridge cum barrage is of 342 m length with gated 21 bays of 12 m clear width and 3 bays of ungated ogee spillway of 12 m width. The Gates are of Vertical lift type with storage height of 5.5m height.
The cost of DPR is Rs 135 Crores.
