Project Description:

The Odakinahalla is one of the tributaries of Kerki Halla/Hirehalla which itself is a main tributary of Bedti River (West flowing River). The area lies between north latitudes 15°15´30” and 15°27´30” and east longitudes between 75°0´00” to 75°7´30”. It originates near Satur village near Dharwad of Dharwad district and traverses through Gamanagatti and joins unkal lake, Kerki Halla near Hubli. The total length of Odakina halla is 16.00 km.

The Kodi halla is one of the tributaries of Dodda halla/Nigari halla/Benni halla which itself is a main tributary of Malaprabha River. The area lies between north latitudes 15°22´30” and 15°27´30” and east longitudes between 75°0´00” to 75°7´30”. It originates near Dharwad of Dharwad district and traverses through Navalur and joins Dodda Halla near Hubli-Hebli Road/Dharward-Hubli Taluk Boundary. The total length of Kodi halla is 15.00 Kms. It has a catchment of 35.00 Sq.Kms. The R.L. (Reduced Level) at origin is 761.00 M and at confluence is 635.00M.
