Project Description:

Tuparihalla under bennihalla basin is the main tributary of Bennihalla. It originates near avaradi village near kittur of Belgaum district and traverses through kitur, tegur, Singanahalli, Garag, Lokhur, Kabbenur, Hondi, Morab, Shirkol, Alagavadi and joins Bennihalla near Navalgund.

a.   Project Objective
  • Identification of Private people encroachment of Nala
  • Fixing original nala boundary as per village maps by Land surveyor
b.   Major activities
  • Collection of reports existing information from KNNL Dept.
  • Demarcation of Tuparihalla Boundary points shown at site by Land surveyor.
  • Casting of Boundary Stone Pillar: – Reinforced cement concrete M-15 grade Boundary Stone Pillars of standard design as per IRC:25-1967.
  • Earth work in excavation for foundation of Boundary Stone Pillars
  • Embedding Boundary Stone Pillars in position at site with plain cement concrete of mix 1:2:4.
  • Painting the Boundary Pillars in two coats of plastic emulsion paint of approved brand.

After embedding of Boundary pillars, it will be shown to the department officials and necessary photographs will be taken for recording purposes
