Project Description:
Detailed Survey, Investigation, Design, Supply, Installation, testing and Commissioning of Lift Irrigation System (Head works consisting of Intake Canal, Jack well cum pump house, power supply including Electrical substations and transmission lines, Rising Main and Delivery Chamber etc) including structure for providing lift irrigation facility to draw water from Tungabhadra River to supplement tail-end area of 34,948.27 Acres (14,143.40 Ha) for the 54 Distributory beyond 11/R sub-distributary.
The project envisages Construction of Lift scheme near Turakatti village in Sindhanur taluk, Raichur district by lifting water from Tungabhadra River to supplement the tail end suffering atchkut (34,948.27 acres) comprising of 24 villages.
